The forum was recorded on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Safety Harbor Library. Thank you to the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce for co-hosting this event and to the League of Women Voters for moderating.

Important Dates
The last day to register to vote in this election is Monday, February 9, 2026.
The municipal election takes place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Safety Harbor Candidate Forum Video

Bill Cropsey Citizens Academy

The City of Safety Harbor is now accepting applications for the 2026 Bill Cropsey Citizens Academy. Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning April 14, 2026. The Academy runs for seven weeks and is limited to 24 participants. Applicants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to Safety Harbor residents.

Participants will tour key City facilities, engage with City leaders, learn how to get involved in local government, and gain insight into the essential functions of a municipal government agency.

The application deadline is Monday, March 30, 2026. Applications are available online at cityofsafetyharbor.com/citizensacademy.
