For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.

Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Farmer Minor & Daisy Pig Story Time in the Art Park

Ages 0-5. Pig out on reading with Farmer Minor, Daisy the pig, and the pugs!

Story Tots in the Art Park

Wednesday, March 20, 10:30 am.
Ages 19 months to 4 years. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time. This week's Story Tots will take place outside in the Art Park, weather permitting. For your comfort, bring a blanket to sit on.

Homework Help

Wednesday, March 20, 3:00-6:00 pm.
Students grades K-8 can get homework help from Teen volunteers at the library. First come, first served. Sign in at the children's desk when you arrive.

Baby & Me Story Time

Friday, March 22, 10:30 am.
Ages birth-18 months. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, enjoy knee bouncers, and bubbles. This week's Story Time will be in the Art Park, weather permitting. For your comfort, bring a blanket to sit on.

Pawsome Readers

Saturday, March 23, 10:30-11:00 am.
Ages 8 and under. Young Readers can practice their reading skills with specially trained therapy dogs.

Digital SAT Reading & Writing Workshop with Carla Barry (virtual)

Saturday, March 23, 4:00 pm.
The virtual Reading and Writing Workshop for the new digital SAT allows students to learn about the four content domains - Craft and Structure, Information and Ideas, Standard English Conventions, and Expression of Ideas. Recommended materials: pen, pencil, highlighter, and notebook. Grades 6-12. Register for the session here.
