September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! Now is the perfect time to encourage everyone you know to sign up, or renew their existing cards, because 3 new or renewing cardholders will win $15 gift cards to a local business.

Youth (Ages 0-18) - Youth Fall Reading for ages 5 - 18 starts September 11 - read 12 hours, earn prizes, and be entered into a grand prize raffle! Register at safetyharborlibrary.beanstack.org. Wackadoo, there's a Bluey Story Time Party on September 13! Then get artsy during ICRE8 - Art Class on September 25. Make boba tea at Tween Cooking on September 5, discuss this month's title at Tween Graphic Novel Book Club on September 19, and create a Pokemon landscape masterpiece Tween Craft on September 26. Teen Anime and Manga Club returns on September 6, while TTRPG adventurers are needed for Teen Dungeons and Dragons: Faerûn on September 9 and a Teen Dungeons and Dragons one-shot on September 23.

Adults - Our next Friends of the Library Book Sale is September 9! Discover more about the resources and services at your SHPL during our Library Open House on September 7, learn about protecting yourself during Spot That Scam! on September 14, and enjoy the St. Petersburg Saxophone Quartet on September 21. The Saturday Movie Matinee this month is Secondhand Lions (PG, 2003) starring Haley Joel Osment, Michael Caine, and Robert Duvall on September 23.
